About me
I grew up a son to a machinist who owned his own business. Through Junior High and High School I worked with him which I didn't really like too much but learned what I could about the technical side of things. My Grandfather was a tool and die maker and a gunsmith and whom I really admired because of his creativity. My childhood was spent daydreaming about becoming an artist or a scientist and working in a production based business bored the hell out of me! I painted and drew and pretended to be Tarzan while hanging in the ‘woods’ most of my free time. So I’ll fast forward to the point at which changed a lot in my life, and that was meeting the woman of my dreams. After needing to 'find myself' I moved to NYC from NJ 20 years ago and never looked back. After many B.S. jobs and a few failed attempt to try something new my past called me back, a friend told me about a job opportunity in the high end custom architectural hardware industry. This was perfect, because it allowed me to be creative. I was hired as their production manager to set-up and run that department and they gave me free reign to do whatever I wanted in their shop. And at that time it helped to mold me because we had a very eclectic group of friends and I was heavily influenced by them. During that time I expanded my mind to different avenues of expression which included painting and sculpture and jewelry. I will be posting photos of all my works in this new site. My younger brother and I are close and we’ve pretty much had the same interests in sports. He introduced me on to mountain biking which he was into and having the same interests as far as sports go well you know I tried it and loved it! It became 'my sport' something I felt natural doing. I used it to commute most of my years in the city and it became second nature. I raced a little and did well but hated the stress from it. As the sport progressed so did my 'tinkering', I have always worked in metal as a form of expression and with that being said I started making unique 'one off' parts for my bike. Anyway that was the beginning of it all, so I started NYC with a friend which didn't work out and was a complete disappointment! We both had different visions as to where this company will go, He had a pretty stressful day job that kept him pretty busy, I just wanted to create artistically designed bike parts. I strive to produce the best shit out there whatever it is, product, clothing, art, whatever....Live Fast Die With A Smile On Your Face!!!!!!!
